The Great Sunflower Project

Public Gardens enrich urban and suburban living. They provide critical resources for humans and wildlife. These can be parks, community gardens or even private gardens that are accessible to the general public.

We are particularly committed to understanding how to enhance pollinator communties in these special places, and you can participate at any of them.

To participate at a public garden:

1. First, visit one of the public gardens listed below. If the garden is designated as a school garden, it is not open to the public. If your public garden is not listed and would like to participate, please contact us for seeds and fill out the garden description form. If you have a garden that you are willing to allow neighbors to use for counting bees, please list it as a public garden.
2. Once the information about the garden itself is added, record sample data.
3. Click the 'submit' link below to report the data.
