Join us this Saturday, August 17 for the GREAT BEE COUNT!
Our goal is to get a count from as many places around the country that we can! We are planning to take a 5 minute count from each plant in bloom in our gardens and to take a count each place we stop on Saturday that we can find something in bloom!
Let's see how many places and plants we can learn about!
Thanks for doing this

This is a great project. I just heard about it on the radio yesterday and decided to participate. At my neighbor's suggestion I planted four sunflower plants earlier this summer to attract bees and support the local bee population.
Although we also have two large tomato plants that are doing well we don't see very many bees. It worries me, but something is pollinating the tomato plants because there are a good number of sets on these plants this year.
